After earning his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland in 2004, Dr. Katzen completed a general practice residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, where he served as Chief Resident at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He joined Finksburg Dental Associates in 2005 and has remained committed to continuing education and staying current with modern advancements in dentistry. A Baltimore native, he lives in Reisterstown with his wife and two children. Outside the office, he enjoys traveling, staying active, and cheering on his favorite hometown teams, bringing that same sense of connection and community into the care he provides each day.

Dr. Daniel Jones brings a thoughtful, relationship-focused approach to dentistry, where every patient is treated with genuine care and attention. A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, he finished first in his class and completed the school’s prestigious oral surgery clerkship, gaining experience in advanced surgical procedures and complex patient care. He continued his training with a General Practice Residency at the Baltimore Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where he provided comprehensive care for veterans and developed advanced skills across all areas of general dentistry. From routine care to more complex treatments, Dr. Jones is committed to delivering dentistry that feels both precise and compassionate.

Known for his warm, approachable nature, Dr. Jones enjoys getting to know each patient and working together to achieve their oral health goals. He incorporates modern technology and techniques to ensure care is efficient, comfortable, and tailored to each individual. Originally from Frostburg, MD, he now lives in Catonsville with his wife, Addie. Outside the office, he is actively involved in his church’s music ministry, playing trumpet and guitar, and enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether cheering on the Orioles or staying active in his community, he brings that same sense of connection and dedication into the care he provides every day.

Jen Elligson brings a warm, friendly energy to every patient interaction, helping you feel comfortable from the moment you sit in her chair. A Carroll County native, she spent her summers with her grandparents just down the road from the office, giving her a special connection to the community she now serves. She earned her Dental Hygiene degree from Harrisburg Area Community College in 2018 and is passionate about patient education, taking time to help you feel informed and confident in your oral health. Outside the office, Jen enjoys reading and is always open to a good book recommendation. She loves spending time with her family, especially her nephew, and lives in Hampstead with her husband and their two adopted kittens, Thelma and Louise.

Katelyn Frock brings a warm, welcoming presence to every patient interaction, with a strong focus on comfort and high-quality care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Pennsylvania College of Technology in 2021 and joined Finksburg Dental Associates in May 2025. Since beginning her career, Katelyn has been passionate about helping patients feel at ease while building lasting relationships and supporting their confidence in their oral health. Originally from Westminster and raised in Littlestown, PA, she now lives in Hanover, where she recently purchased her first home. Outside the office, Katelyn enjoys staying active, spending time with family and friends, working on DIY projects, fishing on the Chesapeake Bay, traveling, and being around her parents’ dogs.

Makenna brings a warm, personalized approach to patient care and is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their oral health. She graduated summa cum laude from the Community College of Baltimore County with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene.

Before becoming a dental hygienist, Makenna began her career as a dental assistant at Finksburg Dental Associates in 2022, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care. She enjoys educating patients about their oral health and tailoring each visit to their individual needs, always striving to create a comfortable, welcoming, and positive experience.
